Located in North Phoenix just directly north of the Loop 101, Desert Ridge is the one of
the largest master planned communities in the Phoenix Metro area. Its proximity to shopping,
recreation and employment opportunities makes it a highly desirable community.
Nearby, the Desert Ridge Marketplace is one of the top outdoor malls in the country with
countless shops, dining and entertainment options.
Desert Ridge is a 5,700 acre development with a master plan of 15,000 homes!
That's about 55,000 residents living in Desert Ridge upon completion. Just in case
this number scares you a bit, developers created residential 'superblocks.' These
superblocks are individual neighborhoods with the community that are anchored by
an elementary school, parks and walking paths hence making the community seem smaller

Within the master plan is the striking J.W. Marriot Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, which
includes 950 rooms, including 81 suites and the 28,000 square foot Revive Spa. A component
of the Resort and Desert Ridge community is an Arnold Palmer signature championship course.
The course is part of Wildfire Golf Club which features a clubhouse (with the exquisite Meritage Steakhouse, YUM),
a short game complex and a driving range. Desert Ridge features some of the
best builders in the Phoenix area. These include: Continental, Elliot, M-I, Morrison, Richmond American,
Shea and Standard Pacific Homes.
Aviano is luxury community built by Toll Brothers that is composed of town homes and single family homes.
The Villages at Aviano are a collection of Tuscan style town homes with 1-2 and 3 bedroom units that range
in price anywhere from $225,000 to over $450,000. If you are looking for something a little larger you might
want to consider looking into the single family Tuscan and Spanish Colonial style semi-custom homes that were
also built by Toll Brothers. These homes range from roughly $500,000 for about 2200 square feet to
around $1,300,000 for 4000 plus square feet. There are a lot of great deals in Aviano right now
especially through some of the short sales and lender owned properties that are currently on the market.
Fireside is a brand new Dell Webb/Pulte Homes 270 acre community within Desert Ridge where buyers can choose from
apartments (Fireside at Norterra to luxury single family homes (Fireside at Desert Ridge).
A total of 916 homes will be built in this community which will include up to seven different neighborhoods.
The homes will range from 1448 square feet to over 4000 square feet and prices will range from roughly $250,000 to over $600,000.
